About Me
As a qualified IT professional since the mid 1990's I have always had a passion for anything technical. Although the majority of my articles are from a technical angle, there are still many that are completely unrelated to my job. I feel my writing offers something to everyone no matter how young or old. As a qualified soccer coach with the English FA, I am able to offer measured and accurate articles on all aspects of junior soccer plus my time as a primary school Governor has given me an insight into the education system too.
I have worked on research for every version of the award winning Football Manager game since its inception in 2005 and also did the same job in it's earlier days as Championship Manager. I have experience both as a vendor of software and as a customer, allowing me to take an objective and sympathetic approach to my Helium role of Channel Manager for the Video Game Reviews section. As long as articles are constructive in their criticism then I am happy with them, they do not all have to be favourable to a product.
All my articles are my own work. I have used many websites for research but always put things into my own words. If an article does appear elsewhere on the Internet, the chances are that I have published it on the other site. If you think my work may have been used without permission, please do tell me.
